Artist Needed for 404!

Who we are:

CODE:Phantasm was founded in the summer of 2017 by sei and Fuu after a game jam project grew a mind of its own and demanded to be expanded to a full length project. The team’s goal is to create quality visual novels that explore subject-matter from a point of view that isn’t often explored, all while creating a unique and memorable experience for the player.

We are a fun-loving, candid team who values the work we put out. While small, each member of the team has commercial game experience.

What kind of game is 404:
404 Error: Connection Not Found (shortened to 404) is a MLM/BL visual novel focusing on the struggles of depression, anxiety, and the importance of reaching out to others. A demo of the game can be played -- for free -- over on our itch page. As the rating and summary implies, this is a NSFW game that will contain NSFW imagery (of the consensual variety!). Specifics can be elaborated on upon request.

What we're looking for:
CODE:Phantasm is currently in need of an artist(s) to help bring their game to life. This includes, but is not limited to, sprites, backgrounds, and CGs.

All potential candidates must be willing to:

• Work independently as well as with the group
• Work with a schedule and meet deadlines, including weekly/bi-weekly check-ins
• Communicate effectively with other members of the team
• Visually portray and be comfortable seeing consenting adult males in sexual situations
• Be willing and legally able to sign a work contract

What is complete so far:

• Story: 60% complete (of 4 main routes + 1 extra)
• Engine/Scripting: 75% complete

What do I get?:
This is a commercial project and therefore artists will be compensated for their work. The primary funding source of this project will be by Kickstarter (set to launch in Spring of 2019). Budgets will be open and available to the public, as will the timeline for work completion. We want to be as transparent as possible!
Supplementary materials leading up to the completion of the kickstarter are negotiable and will be paid for on a contractual basis.
